Decorative and
functional additions to your range hood (not all accessories are
available for all hoods).
| High Ceiling
Chimney Kits |
 |
For taller than average ceilings.
Most
stainless steel wall mount and island mounted canopy hoods have a high ceiling
chimney kit available. The upper chimney cover that
comes with the vent hood is replaced with a taller chimney cover
kit to accommodate a higher ceiling. Most hoods can reach
11’ high ceilings when using this kit. See installation
instructions for specific dimensions.
Available for the
following hoods: Orizzonte, Tratto, Tratto
Isola, Stilo, Stilo
Isola, Diamante, Diamante
Isola, Classica, Gemma, Glassy, Glassy Isola, Tender, Dama, Dama
Isola, Perla, Fortezza Isola
See the technical
specs page for information on model numbers
and dimensions. For installation, follow the normal installation
instructions, using the high ceiling chimney kit in place
of the upper chimney that came with the hood.

| Ductless
Conversion Kits |
 |
Used for installations where ductwork
is impossible or impractical.
Every Faber hood except for
the Scirocco, has the ability to be recirculated or converted
to ductless. It is highly recommended
that professional style cooking always be vented to the outside.
Ductless
conversion kits are available for all island canopy, and
wall canopy/chimney kitchen hoods. Each
ductless conversion kit consists of: a lower chimney cover
with holes for venting back into the kitchen, vent grates
for the holes, thick, high quality charcoal filters to absorb odors, and a
ductless diverter piece to channel air back thru the vent
holes in
the
chimney. Replacement charcoal filters can be ordered for
all range hoods. It is recommended that charcoal filters
be changed every 6 months as their absorption power decreases over time. See below for information on
charcoal
filter kits.
The following hoods use a ductless conversion
kit for venting back into the kitchen: Orizzonte, Tratto, Tratto
Isola, Stilo, Stilo
Isola, Diamante, Diamante
Isola, Synthesis, Tender, Dama, Dama
Isola, Perla

| Charcoal
Filter Kits |
 |
For any hood that is installed
directly underneath or inside of a wood hood or cabinet,
charcoal filters only are used to recirculate the hood. A
set of 2 filters is the only part that comes in a recirculating
kit.
The following hoods use only a recirculating charcoal
filter kit for venting back into the kitchen: Mirror, Matrix (comes
with a ductless grate, no extra ducting required), Magnum, Pellicano, Inca
Pro 30, Inca HC SS, Inca
Smart, Jewel, Velvet, Cristal
HC, Cristal 24, Agio (no extra ducting
required) |

left- part #FILTER2; Upper right #FILTER3; Lower left
#FILTER4, Lower right #FILTER1.
How the kits work:
Hoods that use the ductless
conversion kit require absolutely no ductwork at all to bring
air back into the kitchen.
Hoods that are recirculating (except the Agio, Cylindra, Cylindra Isola, Matrix, and Mirror),
require a small amount of ductwork to divert the air to the
top of the cabinet or the face or side of the soffit. However,
the ductwork does not have to exit the home, but rather return
the air back into the kitchen. Click here to see a picture of a Cristal HC with a recirculating installation. Click here to see the ductless Agio with no ducting required.
The charcoal filters for all
hoods should be replaced approximately every 6 months depending
on usage as the charcoal’s
odor absorption decreases over time.
See the technical
specs page for specific model number
information, which hoods take a ductless conversion kit,
or charcoal filter
kit only and to find specific instructions for installation.
Replacement charcoal filter information can also be found
there.

| Stainless
Steel Liners |
 |
Create a finished look
under our Faber Collection
Built-In hoods.
A Liner is a stainless steel shell that is installed underneath
an insert hood. Faber liners are available in 30” and
36” widths. The liner accessory
for the Inca Smart and Inca HC is adjustable in depth from
16” – 17 7/8”. The liner accessory for
the Inca Pro 30 is adjustable in depth from 21” – 25”.

liner.
There are many reasons why liners should be used with
every built - in range hood:
- They are 4 inches tall which provides additional capture
area under the range hood to capture cooking odors.
- Local building codes may require that exposed wood
above the stove be covered by metal.
- Stainless steel is easier to clean than wood.
- The life of the cabinetry is extended since the exposure
to cooking contaminants is reduced underneath the cabinet.
- The liner gives a more complete and integrated look
to the insert hood.

| Agio Stainless
Steel Front Kits |
 |
The stainless steel faceplate
accessory on the front of the Agio gives an upscale look.

| Duct Transition
Kits |
 |
Transitions two duct holes into
one larger duct to make ductwork less complex.
For the Maestrale and Fortezza Isola have duct
transitions for use on the 48” versions, this
transition is placed on top of the range hood duct openings
which are two – 6” holes for ductwork. The transition converts
the two duct holes into one 10” round opening to vent
your range hood to the outside of the house.

instructions.

| Maestrale
Chimney Covers |
 |
Two different decorative chimney
cover options are available for the Maestrale.
The Maestrale
comes without chimneys in the box, an under-cabinet mounting
is the only choice right out of the box. If you prefer
a chimney cover above the Maestrale you have two optional
accessories. The Telescopic chimney cover and the Full Width
Duct Cover.
The telescopic chimney cover is 23 5/8” wide,
7 7/8” deep
and has two pieces of chimney that slide in and out of each
other to accommodate a ceiling height of 8 – 9 feet.
The full width duct cover is 12” high and 12” deep
and is available in 30”, 36” and 48” widths.
This duct cover is intended to match up with the same size
width Maestrale range hood.

| CFM Reducer Kit |
 |
For cold weather environments, tightly insulated homes or in high rise condominiums with ventilation restrictions, sometimes hoods under 300 cfm's are required by local building codes to prevent removing too much air from inside the home. The CFM reducer kit allows almost the entire collection of hoods to be converted to below 300 CFM.
