Faber’s range hoods are designed in various shapes, sizes and technologies. Kitchens around the world are designed with these various models based on the customer’s preference or the layout of their home. Many choose to have their hood as the focal point of their kitchen while others prefer to have their hood unseen when not in use.
One style we would like to point out is our integrated down draft models. This particular style is sleek in design and perfect for any island installation. Both models have a reversible motor box that fits behind the range top, cooktop or cooktop/ oven combo. These two models are designed unbranded so they pair well with all other brands.
The Scirocco Lux is a pro motor 15’’ tall rising down draft with a front glass panel that can be purchased in black or light gray. A LED light is located in the front upper portion of the model that illuminates your cooking surface with a dimmer capability. Electronic Controls display your current speed, two level lighting, 24 hour anti- pollution mode and filter wash. With a simple push of a button, the Scirocco slides out of the counter when in use and retracts back down once cooking is complete. Perimetric Aspiration forces air through narrow slots along the perimeter of the hood greatly improving the removal of pollutants. Mesh grease filters are located behind the front magnetic glass panel and can easily be removed and placed in detergent or the dishwasher.
The Scirocco Plus is available in 30’’ or 36’’ and is a 14’’ tall rising down draft hood. This model unlike the Scirocco Lux that is made out of pure stainless steel. With a simple push of its speed dial, the product slides up and down out of your counter top. Mesh grease filters are located behind the front panels which are easily accessible when cleaning is needed. Other features include auto shut off, multiple safety features and a remote control.
