We know that remodeling your kitchen may be an exciting and expensive process but CFM management in your kitchen is just as important. Faber would like to announce that adjusting CFM’s to meet local codes is now easier than ever. In April of 2019, 13 of our models will now have the V.A.M (Variable Air Management) feature available, thus expanding your lower CFM design options. V.A.M aids in helping the installer set the speed permanently to a lower specified CFM based on local make up air building codes. All the while also reducing sound and remaining energy efficient. CFM (Cubic feet per minute) is the measurement of how quickly air flows out of a space. With hood installations, there are building codes that limit the maximum amount of CFM a hood can output because of makeup air regulations. If less powerful hoods are not available contractors and builders must buy extra kits and supplies which requires more time and money. Our exclusive VAM allows you to adjust your hood to the most common CFM levels: 295, 395 or 600. VAM is pre-installed in 13 models and with a few pushes of the control buttons is programmed and permanently set to the right CFM for your market.
